Onyx is food safe, however because of its calcareous properties some acid foods, such as wine, ketchup, balsamic vinegar and lemon, can be prone to staining. All of these beautiful and unique onyx serving dishes are perfect for salsa, guacamole, dips, sushi, crudite's, cheese and more. We recommend to use the marble serving dishes with dry foods, such as chips, crackers and such. No two pieces are the same. Wash by hand only.
